Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri, senior advisor of the Supreme Leader issued a statement to slam the recent allegation against Islamic Republic of Iran by Yusuf al Qaradawi, Chairman of International Union for Muslim Scholars (IUMS) calling Russia, China and Iran as the enemies of the Muslim world.
In this statement issued on Tuesday October 16, he said, “The thoughtless remarks of Yusuf al Qardawi were truly painful but not surprising since he has associated himself with a petrified Arab.”
He added, “We believe that his disrespectful remarks towards Islamic Iran, called by him as an enemy of Muslims and Arabs, is rooted in a long time conflict and racist feelings.
This statement also refers to the issue of Syria running,” We announce that Iran’s support for the Syrian government is due to a deep understanding of the regional situation and anti-Islamic plots of the enemies.”
Ayatollah Taskhiri stressed,” The American-Zionist enemy was beaten against the resistance which foiled all its plans for the Great Middle East; therefore, spared no effort in eliminating all resistance centers in the Occupied Palestine, Syria, Lebanon and also Iran and that was the reason it targeted Syria misusing the protests of the Syrian youths demanding reforms in the government.
Former Secretary General of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought warned Yusuf al Qardawi against the challenges ahead of Muslim world reminding him of the following points;
1- This global invasion by the US, Zionist regime and Europe to change the region is supported by the notable facilities contributed by them and some of their allies.
2- Topple of the Syrian regime will eventually lead to civil war and mortal sectarian war in the whole region.
3- Following that other resistance fronts will be targeted and that will lead to nothing but realization of the a long ambition of the Zionists to change the region based on Sykes-Picot Agreement, which will set the Zionist regime as the power of the region.
Prominent Iranian figure also called Islamic Republic of Iran as the invincible castle of the Islam which will back the resistance and justice.
He demanded, “Here I address Sheikh Qardawi, is he not supporting the pressure, sanctions and punishments of the US, European countries and Zionists against brave Iranian nation whose intention is to protect the independence and restoring the rights of the people in Occupied Palestine?”
Chairman of the senior council at the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought concluded his statement with the hope that Sheikh Qardawi would return to his previously followed proximity thoughts.
Al Qardawi, Chairman of the International Union for Muslim Scholars, in some controversial remarks called Islamic Republic of Iran, China and Russia as the enemies of the Muslim world.
Widely known for his controversial stances, Qardawi demanded the Arab countries to impose political and economic boycott Tehran and Moscow due to their support for Damascus.
He also demanded Hajj pilgrims to pray for topple of Bashar al Assad, elimination of Syrian army, Islamic Republic of Iran, Hezbollah, China and Russia!
